Disconnecting from TikTok For Shopify App

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for sellers on how to disconnect their TikTok Shop (TTS) account from the Shopify app. Disconnecting your TTS account from the Shopify 1P app allows you to manage your business directly through the Seller Center, without impacting your TikTok for Business (TT4B) account connection or Ads channel setup in the Shopify 1P app. Additionally, this feature will allow users to disconnect if they have connected to the wrong account initially

Log into your Shopify account.
In the Shopify dashboard, click on the TikTok App.
Select the 'Settings' tab within the TikTok App.
In the 'Accounts' section, identify the TikTok Shop account you wish to disconnect from.
Click 'Disconnect' next to the chosen account. A warning message will appear.
Confirm the action by clicking 'Disconnect'.
- After clicking 'Disconnect', you will be redirected to the Shopify > 1P app > TikTok Shop overview page. The TTS status card on this page will display 'Setup in Progress'.

Important Notes

Disconnecting the TTS account does not impact your Marketing/Ads (TikTok for Business) channel setup in the Shopify 1P app.
For order management, including updates on fulfillment, returns, and refunds, use the Seller Center exclusively.

Shop Settings

Product syncing

Under Shop settings > Product Syncing, there are 3 options and synchronization controls available:

Product Information: Synchronize changes in Product information such as title, description, images, SKUs etc.
Inventory: Synchronize changes in product Inventory
Price: Synchronize changes in product price

	ON 🟢	OFF🔴
Product info	Any changes made to products on Shopify to product description, title, images, etc. are synched over to the corresponding product's title and description, etc. on TikTok Shop Seller Center	This setting can be used to edit detailed product information for store products on Shopify without affecting any product information on TikTok Shop. Allowing sellers to keep TikTok Shop product information different and unchanged from their product information edits on Shopify
Inventory	Any changes made to inventory for products or SKUs on Shopify are synched over to the corresponding product's or SKU's inventory on TikTok Shop Seller Center	This setting can be used to edit the product inventory of store products on Shopify without affecting any product inventory on TikTok Shop. Allowing sellers to keep TikTok Shop inventory different and unchanged from their inventory on Shopify. This is especially useful for Sellers and Merchants wanting to keep a reserved exclusive TikTok Shop Inventory during high sale periods such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Price	Any changes made to the price for products or SKUs on Shopify are synched over to the corresponding product's or SKU's inventory on TikTok Shop Seller Center	This setting can be used to edit product prices of store products on Shopify without affecting any product prices on TikTok Shop. Allowing sellers to keep TikTok Shop prices different and unchanged from their product prices on Shopify. This is especially useful for sellers and merchants wanting to keep an exclusive TikTok Shop price for products and offer exclusive deals on the platform.

Please note：

All three controls are set to active or switched on by default.
Synchronization settings also affect all products and can't be switched on/off for a selected list of products
Synchronization settings for Product Information, Inventory, and Price can all be individually controlled and set on products on TikTok Shop
Seller can request sync price/inventory/product information manually for specific products on 'products on TikTok Shop page' as below, but If synchronization settings are switched off, all individual product inventory/price/product information syncs will fail as well as a result.

Inventory syncing

There are 2 options for managing inventory for your TikTok Shop and Shopify Store:

Keep TTS inventory the same as Shopify inventory
Inventory threshold：
- The inventory threshold is set to avoid overselling on TikTok Shop. When inventory is below a setting number, it will be treated as 0 on the TikTok Shop
- Setting an inventory threshold can provide a buffer to prevent overselling. However, we still advise sellers to monitor their stock levels frequently, particularly during peak sales or campaign seasons.

Price syncing

There are 3 options for managing customized prices for your TikTok Shop and Shopify Store:

Keep TTS pricing the same as Shopify pricing
Fixed price increase/ decrease: This will add or subtract the price amount from every product you sell on TikTok Shop vs Shopify.

Fulfillment Settings

Shipping template（For "Shipped via Platform")

If you set Shipped via Platform as the preferred shipping option, you need to complete the shipping fees template before uploading products. Otherwise, a reminder will pop up when uploading the product.

Shipping carrier mapping（For "Seller Shipping")

Before starting selling, make sure you have set and mapped your carriers correctly on your TikTok Shop Shopify 1P connector in the Fulfillment section:

You will now find the Carrier name Mapping section:

On the left hand side, you will need to insert the carrier/s name exactly as they are appearing on your Shopify's orders. For example, this is an order from a merchant using GLS, but their carrier name is actually "GLS Italy"

So you would need to map: GLS Italy --> GLS. On the left hand side, you have the possibility of editing the Carrier name to be mapped to the corresponding TikTok Shop Carrier:
